Clinical definition:
Common symptoms include fever, chills, malaise, myalgia, pelvic pain, dysuria, and cloudy urine. In younger patients, common etiologies include N. gonorrheae and C. trachomatis. In older patients, common etiologies include Enterobacteriaceae species.
